We have made the decision to move permanently to Lake Chapala Mexico! After researching for many many months, after an exhausting 10 day real estate adventure throughout the Lake Chapala area - we bought a home! We are in the process of selling our cottage, selling our home, deciding which furniture we will take with us and which items to give to our 4 grown children. This is not an easy thing to do - leaving one's country, friends, family, familarities, etc has come with an amazing amount of self reflection, concerns, fears and finally excitement. For us, this move enables us both to retire early - I'm 52 and Greg is 56. We are both ready for an adventure and we're positive Mexico is going to deliver just that. Follow us on our adventure as we begin our new life very, very, south of the border!
